I got an opportunity to meet them and get a personal consultation about my skin & hair concerns & health issues. Not only they very patiently answered all my queries but also gave me few suggestion to lead a healthier and happier lifestyle. I liked the fact the my conversation with the doctors didn’t just persist around the Lever Ayush products it was like a mini session on Ayurveda and it’s importance in our everyday lifestyle. As a part of the consultation, I was also given few products to try which I have been using since then. Here’s a little brief about the products and why I love them:

Lever Ayush Headache Naashak Roll-on

In ayurveda headache is termed as ‘shirahshool’ and  comes under ‘shiroroga. With gandhapura tel and hareechaha tel, Lever Ayush headache naashak roll on eases headache within 15 minutes.

Doshas: Vata / Pitta / Kapha | Guna: Naashak | Usage: Apply gently on forehead.

Ingredients: Wintergreen Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Eucalyptus oil, Clove Oil, Camphor, Menthol

This is probably one of my most favorite product from the entire range of Ayush Lever products. It comes in a small glass bottle with a roll on top. The products itself is very light weight and non greasy. Once applied, it gets absorbed within few minutes and as per the claim, really eases the pain within 15 minutes.

A combination of these products works on relieving congestion which is often the reason for headaches. It also works towards easing out respiratory issues and colds. All in all, the product works effortlessly against headaches, whether they are caused due to congestion, sinusitis or stress on the eyes within 15 minutes. A must have in your daily bag!

Lever Ayush Dandruff Naashak Shampoo

As per Ayurveda, darunaka (dandruff) is a scalp disorder due to an imbalance of kapha and vata. With herbs like rusmari, Lever Ayush dandruff naashak shampoo helps reduce dandruff.

Doshas: Vata / Kapha | Guna: Naashak | Usage: Apply on wet scalp and hair & rinse off.

Ingredients: Amla, Tulsi, Neem, Heena, Shikakai, Rosemary

Lever Ayush Dandruff Naashak shampoo comes in a tall white plastic bottle. The shampoo is brown in color and has a very strong yet pleasant aromatic smell. Surprisingly, this shampoo lather quite well unlike any other ayurvedic shampoos I have used in the past.

Although, I don’t suffer from dandruff at the moment, I did notice that this shampoo did work on my occasional itchy scalp. Consisting of ingredients such as Amla, Neem, Tulsi, Rosemary, Henna and Shikakai, Lever Ayush Dandruff Naashak shampoo cleanses and conditions my hair with its anti-microbial and cooling properties. It deep cleanses my scalp making my hair stronger. However, my hair feels a little dry if not used a conditioner after this shampoo. I wish they had created a conditioner from the same range as well. Meanwhile, I use my regular conditioner on the ends to keep them soft & smooth.

With its triple benefits of being anti-dandruff, cleansing and strengthening, Lever Ayush Dandruff Nashak Shampoo is all you need to fight this problem without going in for any expensive treatments.

Lever Ayush Bhringamalakadi Tailam

Ayurveda recommends regular shiroabhyanga for hair health. With keshranjan herbs like bhringaraj and keshya herbs like yashtimadhu, bhringamalakadi tailam darkens hair, prevents premature greying and promotes hair growth.

Doshas: Vata / Pitaa / Kapha | Karma: Rakshak | Usage: Massage hair & scalp gently, daily.

Ingredients: Classical formulation from Grantha Sahasrayoga/Tailprakarana

If you guys have been reading my blog for a while, you’d know that I suffer from premature greying of hair and it is majorly hereditary. I had looked everywhere for a solution to this problem but never found one. So during my consultation with the doctors, I did mention this particular concern to them and they highly recommend Lever Ayush Bhringamalakadi Tailam  which is an all-natural approach to reduce premature greying of hair.

Lever Ayush Bhringamalakadi Tailam comes in a transparent plastic bottle with the brown-green colored oil. Not a big fan of the smell of this oil. However, it feels really calm & soothing on my head. It gets absorbed fairly quickly and washes off easily as well. I was pleasantly surprised to come across a product which is meant to target premature greying of hair. It is said that  ingredients such as Yashtimadhu, Bhringaraj, Til oil and amla juice, the oil serves the purpose of preventing premature graying and ensures that your hair grows long and strong for years to come.

I have been mixing this and the hair poshak oil together for a while now are the result has been extraordinary.

Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil

As per Ayurveda, beautiful hair requires regular nourishment with herbs that are keshya & keshverdhak. With herbs like amla, neem & til ka tel, Lever Ayush hair poshak oil strengthens hair and nourished the scalp.

Doshas: Vata / Pitta / Kapha | Guna: Poshak | Usage: Massage gently into scalp and leave it on overnight.

Ingredients: Rosemary, Neem, Amla, Sesame

Like I mentioned above, I have been using a combination of this oil along with the Bhringamalakadi Tailam twice a week now and I am in LOVE! The reason I started mixing both oils is because I didn’t like the smell of the Bhringamalakadi Tailam but the Hair Poshak oil has a very soothing scent. Little did I know that I would become obsessed with this combination.

I like to warm up this mixture a bit for better absorption into the scalp.  To begin with, I have never been a big fan of hair oil but surprisingly, I really enjoy using this combination. After  along day of work, this oil massage really soothes my senses and relives stress.

While the Bhringamalakadi Tailam serves the purpose of preventing premature graying, the Lever Ayush Hair Poshak Oil prevents hair fall, hair breakage and simultaneously fights dandruff, keeping my hair well-nourished. The wholesome ingredients come together to promote hair growth while fighting dandruff as well as ensure that you have strong and lush tresses for years to come.
